FINE ART - BRONZE & BEYOND EXHIBITION
Sculptor Ian Edwards headlines our latest exhibition with a
series of inspiring bronzes. Raised in the Somerset countryside,
Ian developed a lasting love of wildlife and now portrays it
through his work. His sculpture demonstrates the grace and gentleness
of the natural world whilst remaining true to its vehemence
and fervour. This collection features a series of limited edition
pieces that range from animals and birds to the human form.
Ian served a five year apprenticeship at the world renowned
G&H Studios where he fine-tuned his ability to portray form
and movement. He has exhibited with the British Society of Wildlife
Sculptors and as a consequence his work has become popular with
private collectors throughout Europe and America. We are both
proud and delighted to host a collection of this scale.
A warm welcome to two new artists, Jan Pitt and Phyllis Wolff.
Jan studied art at the prestigious West of England Academy and
has a growing reputation in the area. Working with both pastel
and oil, her portfolio is rich in still life, landscape and
imaginative abstract, offering something to capture most art
enthusiasts.
Resplendent in its bold use of colour and uninhibited style,
Phyllis Wolff's work has brought pleasure to discerning audiences
over many years. Trained at St Martins, Wolff's work displays
clear intuition of the natural world around her. She takes command
of her subject and delivers it with drama, integrity and zest.
An Opening Party to celebrate this event will be on October
31st from 6.30pm. Please join us!
